Get Excited!
Thank you so much for your interest in our South Korea 2025 group trip! We want this to be an amazing experience for everyone and we have a year to make it happen. BTS will officially be back as SEVEN in June 2025 during Festa season and what better place to celebrate their return and 12th anniversary than in South Korea! This is a momentous occasion that Armys from all around the world are planning to celebrate, so the preparation begins now!

Note: Participants should be at least 21 years old at the time of departure. This is a trip for Armys, so most activities will be related to BTS!
What Is BTS Festa?
Festa is an annual celebration of BTS's debut anniversary, June 13. Every year, a schedule is released with celebratory activities throughout the month of June, leading up to the 13th. This ranges from the release of exclusive new content such as group photos, dance practices, behind the scenes footage, and songs dedicated to Armys. There have also been fan club events 'BTS Muster', which is a mixture of music performances and activities done by the members themselves.

In 2023, Seoul turned purple to celebrate BTS's 10th anniversary, with celebrations such as major landmarks being lit purple, collaborations with a variety of companies including airlines and hotels, pop-up events, a special program with RM, themed merch and so much more! This year's celebration included an exclusive hug event and performance by Jin, as well as booths with exclusive goodies available to Army membership holders.

Festa is truly the most wonderful time of the year for Armys and 2025 will definitely be one for the history books so please look out for more details!
Trip Duration
At the moment, the time frame of this trip is June 9-30, 2025 (tentatively). This is subject to change, based on the event dates for Festa 2025. We don't know what is being planned as yet and are planning as best as possible based on past events and predictions. Updates on the events will be provided once they are available.
Note: You would not need to stay the full length of the trip and are free to choose your preferred stay (1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, etc.). However, based on the nature of this trip, at least 2 weeks would be ideal. RM, V, Jimin and Jungkook will return on June 10 and 11, while SUGA will return on June 21; the trip dates were selected with this in mind and adjustments will likely be made as the time gets closer.
Travel Requirements
-
Travel to South Korea is currently visa-free for Jamaican passport holders. However, you are required to get a K-ETA (Korea Electronic Travel Authorization), which is an online electronic travel authorization that visa-free foreign visitors need to obtain before entering South Korea for tourism. This is valid for two years (or when your passport expires, if it expires before the two-year mark) and therefore can be used for multiple entries to South Korea beyond this trip. The cost is 10,000 KRW (approximately $1,200 JMD) and the turnaround time can be as short as a few hours. Please visit https://www.k-eta.go.kr/portal/apply/index.do for full details and appropriate application timelines.

-
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the planned entry date and have at least one blank page for a stamp. Please double check your passport's expiration date to ensure there are no issues with entry to South Korea!

-
There are no direct flights to South Korea from Jamaica; you would therefore have to travel through another country, with the necessary entry documents (i.e. visas). There are several options to explore, such as traveling through the United States. Some flights are direct to South Korea, while others may have stopovers in other countries that will require visas, even for transit. However, if you don't have a United States visa, other options can be considered such as flying through Canada (learn more) or Europe (learn more). Please note the processing times and costs for these visas. Flights for June 2025 are not yet available but once they are, you will be guided further on the best options for you!
Accommodation
There are several options to consider for accommodations such as:

-
Hotels
-
Airbnbs
-
Hanoks
-
Hostels

At the moment, we are considering hotels for the stay. This has not been finalized as yet and you are free to book your own accommodation (explore hotel options here). If you'd like to book as a group, rooms will be booked on a double or triple occupancy basis. In the past, there were special themed hotels for Festa but again, no details have been confirmed for next year. More info will be provided later.
(Not to alarm anyone but hotels in South Korea for June 2025 are filling up fast! This is a big deal for Armys so it's no surprise.)
Cost
A rough estimate of the cost for this trip is JMD $400,000 to JMD $600,000. This price is dependent on your length of stay, choice of accommodation and desired extras. The base amount includes:

-
K-ETA
-
Airfare
-
Accommodation
-
Visa(s) - if necessary
-
Travel insurance

This does not include special activities, transportation within South Korea or meals. Also note that you do not have to pay for everything all at once! Different portions of your trip on a monthly basis.
